Who you're dealing with
These terms are an agreement between you and Contract Horizon, a sole trader business in Victoria, Australia. Contact is by email only: hello@contracthorizon.com.au. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept them for that business.
Contract Horizon is an independent business. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Australian Government or any agency.
The service lists federal contract notices from AusTender. It does not list approaches to market. State and territory contracts are not included at launch. NSW and Victorian state data is not included, because of the licences on those sources. Queensland is next on our list. There is no date for that yet. The production record covers five years of contract notices.
AusTender materials are released by the Department of Finance. AusTender materials are subject to change and should be verified on the AusTender website to ensure the information is up to date and correct: www.tenders.gov.au (opens in a new tab). Licensed under CC BY 3.0 AU (opens in a new tab). Modified by Contract Horizon.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions in Australian dollars: Solo A$49, Pro A$149, and Team A$399 per month. They renew automatically each month until you cancel. Contract Horizon is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. You pay by card through Stripe. The founding-member code FOUNDING is 40% off for the first 100 paying subscribers, for as long as that subscription stays active. If you cancel, a new subscription is at the standard price.
You can cancel any time from the account page, using Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until then, and the account then returns to Free. We do not refund part of a month. This does not affect rights the Australian Consumer Law does not allow us to limit.
We will email you at least 30 days before a price increase takes effect.
Information and estimates
Contract end dates and re-tender timing on Contract Horizon are estimates drawn from public AusTender contract notices. They are not official, not a prediction, and not legal, financial, or procurement advice. Check the notice on AusTender (opens in a new tab) before you rely on anything here. The re-tender score is a count of published contract notices. It is not a recommendation to bid. Supplier contact details are not part of this service.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or a lost tender, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Where the Australian Consumer Law lets us limit a remedy for a consumer guarantee, that liability is limited to supplying the service again, or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee or other right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.
